I felt very conflicted with the senior I&E advisor. A British lad. He wanted me to follow each and every step of instrumentation & cabling whereas I was very occupied with the overall coordination, construction, mechanical, piping, valves, etc. I felt so incompetent when he laughed at the simple questions I asked.

We consulted an advisor in the office and finally agreed that the whole situation was nothing more than a day-one problem, that is, the setup from the very beginning wasn’t adequate. In the back of my mind, I thought, the rootcause of the whole situation was — rushing. You can’t have both speed and accuracy.
