Good operation II
the best kind of support I felt I have given to Good. I was literally running here and there to help with their systems. Virtual printer fix and training, events retrieval for an investigation, minor configuration in DCS graphics, alarms check, and so on.
The flight back was through Kuantan, hitching a ride with Zul Shukor. Kuantan is arguably the hottest airport in Malaysia, evident trapped air in the middle of the check-in counters where people queue. On board, I chatted with a family guy who was on the way to Kuching for Raya. Very outgoing and kind. We broke fast slightly after the plane landed, prior to asking me which sunset time to follow – Kuantan or Sepang. His kids were also outgoing… asking for more drinks at the back of the cabin as soon as the plane stopped. Quietly, I wished, my kids would be a little outgoing as well, although their dad is a little reclusive and solitary in normal situation.
Earlier, I called up anyone who could fetch me from the airport. No one could. My regular cab-drivers couldn’t. My family couldn’t. I understood, it was Iftar time.
I always have a problem at the airport. Quietly, I wished, things would turn around for me at the terminal. One day.
