My PowerBook is precisely 4 years, 8 months, and 10 days old. It has served well beyond the normal laptop lifetime of 3 years; and it will continue to do so for many days to come. I’ve had mostly good times with it and survived a few minor issues throughout its duration of service. In fact, I am not ready to retire it, but it seems like I have to do so in a couple of months time. I hope this laptop will reach the amazing 5-year mark for a portable computer.
