  • Malaysia Top Richest

There’s nothing wrong with seeking wealth if it comes in and goes out the proper and Halal sources, channels, and methods. God will judge each and every penny you receive and spend.

The Top 10 Richest in Malaysia (from Forbes June 2 issue) :

1 Robert Kuok (Sugar Boss) USD10bil
    2 Ananda Krishnan (Maxis) USD7.2bil
3 Lee Shin Cheng (IOI group) USD5.5bil
4 Teh Hong Piow (Public Bank) USD3.5bil
5 Lee Kim Hua & family (Genting) USD3.4bil
6 Quek Leng Chan (Hong Leong group) USD2.4bil
7 Yeoh Tiong Lay & family (YTL) USD2.1bil
8 Syed Mokhtar AlBukhary (Bukhary group) USD1.8bil
    9 Vincent Tan (Berjaya) USD1.3bil
    10 Tiong Hiew King (Rimbunan, Tri-M) 1.1bil

These folks might die and live 7 generations and would still have enough to go on. Unless inflation goes as bad as Zimbabwe’s or the expenditure profile has gone so high up (even the toilet seat is gold-plated).

dont worry, i think our inflation will go on par with Zimbabwe because our leaders love to compare our performance with Zimbabwean. :D soon or later we shall go into that direction as well..Bravo BN!

why? because cannot compare-compare with luxembourg one… easily can lose.

      wow spam

Anyway is robert kuok’s wealth primarily from his sugar business in malaysia or his other businesses (ShangriLa etc) elsewhere?

yeah… not sure why ppl spend time spamming.

he’s got business everywhere, yeah? palm plantation etcetera… btw, i think it’s primarily sugar since he owns 80% of malaysian sugar… which is roughly 10% of the world sugar.

      sweet.

We had to prepare for a review. I told my immediate superior that I would be attending a doctor’s appointment at 3.30 onwards but I had received a seemingly blunt request instead to reschedule it and make way for the review with the managers.

I disregarded that and brought forward the appointment early so I could go back to office before the review time. That worked like a charm.

The specialist was none other than Dr. Ismail Maulut. Based on my conversation with him, not only I discovered that he knew the company doctor Dr. Abu Hassan Samad from high school time (Alam Shah), I managed to conclude further that they both knew my dad very well. Dr. Ismail was a fifth former and Dr Abu fourth when my dad led the SAS boys in 1970.

I returned to office and the review went splendid. Except for the folks not understanding the requirement of Coriolis again. Sheehs. I wonder who came up with the line “it’s not rocket science“. Must be some business managers with highly accredited MBA who were intimidated by engineers/scientists. In front of the shareholders. On Monday morning. And somebody forgot to refill coffee that particular morning.
