Flight Arrival symbol
Ihsan and I noticed that arriving flight icon was quite erroneous: the nose should still be pointing a little upward while landing. Nose down in the signboard below seems more like a crash.

Acceptance Test
It’s been a crazy week so I took a fictional day off by attending to a Factory Acceptance Test at the Emerson office. I returned to office but it was so late everybody had left for weekend.
Dinner: egg wrap (telur bungkus) with white rice
Prison Break rally. I can guess that Dr. Tancredi is still alive.

Art has its consequences. I think the artist tried to be artistic by making the odd symmetry between the icon on top and the one on the bottom.

I never noticed that before. I wonder if the same icon is being used here in Melbourne.

my dad pointed this out a couple years ago. i think the designer relies on suspension of disbelief of the public to emphasize the difference between the two symbols… so that it is much easier to see which one is departure and which one is arrival without having to look for the landing gears

it’s just a symbolical drawing rather than an accurate ‘engineering’ drawing, and as ihsan pointed out meant to emphasize the difference.. i’ve actually noticed the icon too, and accepted it.
