Effort flushed down the drain
We had group meeting that was Birthday appreciation lunch for me & Siva.
When my superior talked about the good result from well-testing effort recently, all the attention and recognition went to the project engineer. They asked him, “So, what was the secret?”
My effort in holding the joints together in 5 months suddenly went down the drain. No recognition for me at all. Let alone the materials guy who has helped me all the way. I’m fine with this. In fact, it takes all of the heat off my back.
It’s OK. I’ve captured the real knowledge & skills.
