Coriolis turnaround

Emulsion discussion. Before this, everybody was throwing rocks at the Coriolis meter. Now, everybody is throwing rocks at everything else: design bottleneck, scaling, orifice plate, emulsion, and so on. The table has really turned around. I’m glad I stood up in defense of the meter. Like I’ve always mentioned to everyone – the meter will just tell you what you pass it through. A Houston PE that I sought advice from has said the same thing – it’s amazing that it takes a meter to tell you how bad your process is.
And then, the not-so-good news came. The project I’ve been looking forward to has been taken away from me. Some other team somewhere would take over.
I suddenly felt like losing my job. Perhaps it’s as good as a timing that I’ll be away from office for a while.
