Pondering My Writing
zzeed
I have been writing this so-called “BLOG” for a while now. You may browse the archive and see for yourself how far back it goes.
The things that puzzle me are:
- After quite some time, the hit has been approximately flat. There is probably a minuscule incremental, but almost certainly negligible.
- Comment rate has gone pretty much downhill. Had this been a company’s KPI, its rating would be from BAD to REALLY BAD.
So either:
- The content has definitely gone out of context and interest. There hasn’t been any improvement at all over time.
- I have gone so bitter that everybody’s intimidated and nobody wants to come in anymore.
- Like someone has pointed out once, I’m paranoid – starting to speculate and judge others.
- Blogging has gone too outspread, people are busy blogging and not hopping or commenting.
- Lack of notifications. I discovered that this is not an issue after seeing examples of Efx2blogs vs WordPress migration.
But nevertheless, I keep on writing because:
- There is always 1 person who will read it word by word.
- I am not that good verbally, sometimes I just need to lay it in words and texts.
- I can’t remember a lot, so I jot down a few things for my own record. More like snapshots of my loose brainwaves.
I will try a few things though:
- Produce a better and clearer title.
- Simplify and make it as usable as possible.
Did you know that “BLOG” is a shortcut for WEBLOG?

“Writing is a form of therapy; sometimes I wonder how all those who do not write, compose or paint can manage to escape the madness, the melancholia, the panic fear which is inherent in the human situation.”
