Happy Eid! First of all, it’s good to be here in Melbourne. To be with my wife for another week of my life.

In the morning, Wahyu, Ibu, wife and I were in Preston for Eid prayer. Plenty, plenty of brothers and sisters from all walks of life. The best part was – everyone was shoulder to shoulder during the prayer. Tight and close. Let me ask those who prayed Eid in Malaysia one thing – how far apart were you from the person besides you in the saf? Half a foot? Didn’t feel close at all, did you?

Then we had an outdoor feast, simple barbecue by the Jones Park.

ketupat

Nasi himpit would add more meaning to Raya. Haha.
