Sherlock Holmes

Intan & I decided on impulse to watch Sherlock Holmes at Alamanda Putrajaya. We had Rasamas dinner again. It was awesome. Long date. Hehe.

Percik. Yum yum.

Pepper.

I don’t think Robert Downey Jr. was the most suitable actor to play Holmes but he managed to be eccentric very well.

The movie was good overall. It’s better than Avatar in terms of exercising your brain but lacks the flow in story-telling. Even though the point of the movie was to keep the audience guessing by the unusual flow and the sudden beginning of the movie, I think there could be a better way to present it. Intro, body, conclusion – the body can be complex but the frames should be simple.

      1. it’s not the name of the jungle. the planet’s name kot rasenye. maybe i shud say diz way: i love PANDORA jz ade jungle glow in the dark. :p. siap ade gunung terapung lagi. wah wah wah kreatif sungguh!

      2. Pandora is the name of the moon actually. The planet that Pandora is orbiting is a gas giant Polyphemus, which orbits the star Alpha Centauri. That’s why they mention that the gravity is lower, because they’re living on a moon, which most probably has a lower mass when compared to earth.

  1. When I read he was going to play Sherlock Holmes I went NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
I always imagined Holmes to be quirky, English looking (i.e. not that handsome :P) but posh and proper since he is British.
Downey Jr is far from “proper”
Well if it’s entertaining then it’s worth a watch..now…. when aje nih.. panjang betul list “movies to watch”

    1. I first thought that Law was gonna be Holmes, since he fits the general description of Holmes’ facial appearance (plus his name is Law, something Holmes is passionate about).

And I guess ‘proper’ is subjective, since Holmes is addicted to marijuana.
