Ibu, KNgah and I invited mom and my little brothers and sisters for lunch. Right in between that, I was desperate in making the house a bit more eventful by playing stuff on the screen as if it was TV. One time it was Rumble in the Bronx and at some other time, I played the Madasgascar 2. Apparently people are so accustomed to video and sound that without the two, the household felt much quieter and less interesting.
And so I wondered – in the older days when there was no internet, TV or even radio – were conversations more meaningful? What was the eventful part when people got together? Sharing jokes or stories over cups of tea?
