Simplicity is the ultimate sophistication…

Third Day on Duty

I completely forgot Alya’s request to borrow the DSLR. Must’ve slipped my mind. I felt really, really bad. I’m not such a good listener at times.

Somehow I felt exhausted from the traveling. I’m not used to so much walking and “competing” with the crowd in public transportation. It’s only a matter of time. Hope I will be able to get used to this quickly.

There wasn’t much activity at work so I was able to thoroughly dig up any other matters related to the new role that required follow-up. At the end of the working day, there was a farewell “tea” conducted for the outgoing Operations Manager. The higher management seemed to be posted for assignments quite frequently. Roughly 2 to 3 years for an assignment. Hm.

Returning home, I cleared some butt-lists I had jotted down earlier – like checking for coverall and safety shoes sizes, sending soft-copy picture for offshore safety passport application, verifying my tax number, etc.

Adios and Goodbye – The End of Blogging

That’s it. Thank you for visiting all this while, I truly appreciate your support. It’s been great to meet new people and stay in touch with friends. Somehow I am just naive & that my writings don’t do justice. Perhaps my digital passion is causing more harm than good. So it’s time for me to move on and catch up with other things.

I wish you all the best in whatever you do in life. I apologize for any unjust and unfair remarks I made that hurt anyone throughout the life of this blog. I am very sorry. Time to go now. I’m sure the world will do fine with less me in it.

P/S: signing off somewhat inspired by a friend I’ve never met: BigMacky. Even if I come back, it would be in the form of  Vowe but highly unlikely. And I will not talk about my life and my family anymore.

Blogging ends with this line.

Short Notes for August 5

There was a farewell session for the boss of my boss. I dropped by his office later to congratulate him on the new assignment. It’s been great. I really appreciate his support during my knee recovery.

Returned and went to Alamanda with wife. We had Lemongrass dinner. We returned home afterwards but she had to go out again to Secret recipe.
