Late in the afternoon, we toured Taman Botani, Putrajaya. Almost everybody was there.
It was all fun and wonderful. We played around the small hills.
Until this suspicious obelisk showed up.
Why did we put an obelisk, with sundial, solstice & equinox guides in the middle of Putrajaya?
Doesn’t this remind you of the pagan worship of sun or Majusi?
Fine, the lessons of science and astronomy are good – but why built it? And that size?
(Isn’t pen & paper, or miniature scale enough?)
